Terms of service (TOS)

>>See point 8 for Adoptable and design TOS<<1. GENERAL TERMS✦ The drawing process typically takes 1 week - 3 months to finish.
✦ All drawings will include a subtle signature that you must not remove.
✦ I might record and post the drawing process on various social platforms.
✦ Prices are subject to change based on demand.
✦ I have the right to reject any order I feel uncomfortable drawing for any reason.2. PAYMENT✦ Payment is accepted via PayPal, & Kofi in USD.
✦ Commissions will be paid 100% upfront after the sketch has been approved for line work.
✦ Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and requested you to send me the payment.3. PROCESS AND DELIVERY✦ I will notify you when I have started on your commission and you, therefore, lose the rights to a refund (see point 7 further below for more info on refunds)
✦ While I'm working on your commission I will make reviews with you to make sure I make it just right for you!
✦ The amount of reviews depends on the complexity of the work.
✦ During the reviews, you will see work-in-progress and these images will usually include a watermark and be smaller than the finished piece.
✦ The time it takes to finish your commission varies 1 week - 3 months depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, or other work.
✦ If anything comes up that will slow the progress of the initially estimated delivery time I will let you know ASAP.
✦ Once the piece is finished you will receive a .png file of the completed commission, via email.(Note that there is no physical product. Commissioned work is digital only, unless stated otherwise.)4. REVISIONS✦ You get 3 rounds of changes on the commissioned piece included in the price.
✦ A fee will be added if you want something changed on the final drawing - unless a misunderstanding from my side has been made.
✦ If you wish for me to change something in the drawing you have previously approved, I will charge you a fee to change it. The amount of the extra charge depends on the change you want me to make and is usually based on an hourly wage.
✦ If your reference is unclear, changes will come at an extra charge.5. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY✦ I, beetledrawz (the artist), claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the buyer. Therefore I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:
✦ Promote myself with it everywhere
✦ Publish books with it (artbooks, etc.)
✦ Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)
✦ Post it wherever I wantThe buyer is allowed to:✦ Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it on all your social media profiles, forums, etc.)
✦ Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as their own, but not the artwork itself.
✦ Use the artwork to promote themselves. You are not forced to give me credit when you post it but it is very appreciated.
✦ Use the artwork on their YouTube channel and in monetized videos as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings.> The following is considered copyright infringement:✦ Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means profiting off it in any way.
✦ Claiming the artwork as your own.
✦ Removing my signature from the artwork,
✦ Altering the artwork without my consent.I reserve the full rights to the image and it's use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon (rights to the image for your own non-personal use may be purchased at any time).6. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION✦ I will do everything I can in my power to make my customers happy!
✦ If you have a problem with anything in regards to the commissioned piece please tell me right away so we can find a solution together.
✦ I am willing to change some of my terms for you if you ask before I start on your commission. If you, e.g., do not want me to post your art anywhere, we can discuss this.7. REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY✦ The buyer is not allowed a refund once I start working on the commission, unless otherwise agreed upon.
✦ If I cannot start your commission for any reason you will receive a full refund.
✦ If you cancel your order before I start it, you can get a full refund.
✦ If you are getting a refund, do not request a PayPal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.If you request a PayPal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all aforementioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply PayPal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.If the buyer breaks any of the points stated above they will lose all the aforementioned rights to the artwork commissioned by me, Beetledrawz (the artist), and I will have the right to profit further from the commissioned artwork in any way I see fit. If you have a problem with any of these statements, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to paying your commissioned piece.

I'll ask you to DM me your PayPal email after confirming your purchase claim.
✦ All adopt payments are to be made in USD through PayPal via invoice.
✦ Holds are not allowed under any circumstances.
✦ Payment is expected upfront.
✦ If payment isn't received within 24 hours after I respond to the purchase claim the adoptable will be put up for sale again.
✦ After the purchase has been cleared you'll always receive a full-resolution .png file of the adopt with a transparent background.2. RESELLING/TRADING/GIFTING
✦ Reselling is allowed, unless the adoptable is an original species.
✦ You may not resell the adopt for more than what you paid unless it comes with extra art you commissioned. You may NOT raise the price to account for personal art YOU made for the adoptable.
✦ You may not resell an adopt you got in a trade under any circumstances.
✦ Trading is allowed,
✦ You may not resale an adopt you received for free. (i.e: as a gift) but you may trade or gift the said adopt.3. OWNERSHIP✦ I retain all legal rights to my designs. For this reason, my adopts are for non-commercial use only unless you purchase separate commercial use authorization from me. (aka my adopts may not be used in anything that will potentially turn up a profit be it games, books , art pieces,merchandise,comics etc. This also includes things like VTuber models and PNGtubers)
✦ Once you buy the adopt it's yours to use as you please for non-commercial purposes.
✦ You may not claim to be the creator of the design, only the owner of the character.
✦ You must credit me as the creator of the design.4. EDITING
✦ You are free to make minor edits to your adopt as you please as long as the adopt is still recognizable.
(i.e: gender,Hair color/length, eye color, skin color, clothes, etc. etc.)
✦ You may edit my adopt art if it's absolutely necessary.
✦ You may not turn any of my designs into a CS.
✦ You may turn ANY CS design of mine into a non-species, however, you MAY NOT turn it back into CS later.
✦ Even if you trade or resell it MUST remain a non-species.5. ADOPT ARTWORK✦ UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS MY ART ALLOWED TO BE TRACED, COPIED, OR HIGHLY REFERENCED.
✦ The owner of the adoptable in question is free to use the artwork for page-sitters, character profiles, sites, etc.
✦ The owner of the adopt may not use the adopt for commercial use, but they can always purchase a commercial rights authorization.
- Contact me for infoViolators of any of these rules will be blocked and banned from buying any more adopts from me. Those caught helping blacklisted people obtain my adopts will be blacklisted as well
